About the Role:

As a Care Assistant, you will provide essential support to individuals in both our Younger & Older Adults Units within our clients care home. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting with meals and monitoring liquid intake
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting independence and well-being
  • Observing & monitoring the resident’s general wellbeing, reporting & co-ordinating with other staff members.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring, compassionate, and reliable attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Previous care experience is essential – full training will be provided
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • An Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conducts
  • Ability to always maintain confidentiality
  • SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
